Justin Quinn is a Principal of James Doyle Design Associates and a licensed Landscape Architect in Connecticut. He holds a degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Connecticut and leads residential landscape projects across the United States. Working in close collaboration with his colleagues, his work has received numerous professional design awards recognizing contributions to residential landscape architecture and garden design.
Justin’s experience includes leading design teams from early conceptual development through construction documentation, with a particular focus on establishing strong conceptual direction and using planting composition, landform, and materiality to create structure, form, and spatial clarity. He values the collaborative process and enjoys working closely with architects, engineers, and craftspeople to make complex projects function cohesively and efficiently. He is the co-author of Intersection of Nature and Art, and his work has been featured in Architectural Digest, Galerie, Frederic, and Phaidon’s Contemporary Gardens. He believes that landscapes should be not only memorable but meaningful. He lives in Litchfield County, Connecticut, with his wife and three children and is a veteran of the United States Army.
