GREENWICH WATERFRONT
GREENWICH \ CONNECTICUT
With sweeping views across the Long Island Sound and more than 250 feet of direct waterfront, this landscape was designed as a seamless extension of the home—shaping arrival, movement, and daily life around a continuous dialogue with the water. A procession of hornbeam hedges, preserved stone ledge, and fastigiate oaks leads to a main courtyard, while mirrored water features and tall glass facades strengthen the connection between interior and exterior. At the rear, boxwood parterres, seasonal perennials, and a vanishing-edge pool align the terraces with the horizon, as light gray porcelain and sandstone walkways soften the transition between garden and architecture. Along the shoreline, native maritime plantings stabilize the ledge and create habitat, while a main lawn, restored stone stair, bocce court, and waterside cabana extend the experience toward the water—forming a landscape defined by layered planting, spatial clarity, and a quiet sense of purpose.
